Umbrella Multicultural Community Care Services Inc. is a leading provider of community aged care services, based in Perth Western Australia. This rapidly growing organisation has clients from more than 60 countries and staff and volunteers who are multi-lingual and diversity aware. Programs include the Commonwealth Home Support Program, Home Care Packages and the Community Visitors Scheme.

We are seeking a professional who will work closely with the CEO and key Management team, contributing to the management, growth and sustainability of the organisation and safety and quality care of clients, through a quality policy framework and coordinating funding applications and tenders.

Key responsibilities of this position will include:

• Ensure that Umbrella Inc meets compliance with the Commonwealth Aged Care Quality Standards, in conjunction with the CEO and key Management team
• Develop and review policies and communicate these to the CEO, staff, volunteers and Board members
• Develop and implement quality assurance procedures working closely with the CEO and key Management team
• Identify and coordinate new funding applications, tenders and other funding opportunities
• Support Umbrella Inc’s Incorporation requirements and coordinate Annual General Meetings and other General Meetings, in conjunction with the CEO

To be successful in this position you will be an individual with experience in quality assurance, compliance and policy frameworks, have at least 3 years management experience in the community aged care sector and have organisational development and strategic planning skills. Knowledge of diversity, access and equity issues relating to CaLD and LGBTI seniors is also essential.
