The role is that of a Team Leader which is what we call a Lead Practitioner-Supported Living. In this role you will lead, mentor and supervise a team of staff supporting persons with a disability. The role requires not only for you to lead the team; but to work alongside them and the people we serve on the ground providing hands on support.
The role is a Permanent Part Time position with a contract of 60 hours per fortnight.
The Lead Practitioner’s role is to deliver sustainable high quality support to people with a disability so that they can live a life that is of their choosing, achieve personal goals and maintain socially valued roles, friendships and relationships, within the resources available to them. These resources include funding, family, informal supports and community resources.
