The Opportunity

UnitingCare's Intensive Family Support Service in Logan is currently seeking a Community Development Worker to join and support their team of experienced Case Workers.

You will undertake a range of Community Development and educational activities that support the goals and outcomes of the Intensive Family Support Service. Case management support including the assessment of client exit needs when developing exit plans, reviewing and monitoring to ensure client exit plans are achieved. Assist Child & Family Case workers ensure active engagement and support to complex, vulnerable and hard to reach families and ensure their ability to participate in family and community life prior to exit from the program.

What do you'll need

  • Degree in Social Work, Psychology or Counselling
  • Training in ASIST or willing to undertake
  • Current Queensland Drivers License
  • Suitability card for Child Related employment (Blue Card)
