About the role

Richmond Uniting Church (RUC) is a dynamic, growing, inclusive congregation, currently seeking a new Office Co-ordinator.

The purpose of the Office Co-ordinator role is to manage the Richmond Uniting Church Office work, to be the weekday point of interface between RUC and the broader community, and to organise the use and care of the Richmond Uniting precinct and properties. These properties include church and rental properties, and the role requires coordinating the safe hiring of these spaces in accordance with RUC’s vision, ensuring the good stewardship of resources. The person in this role will communicate and work with the Minister, Property and Finance Team, Church Council, Presbytery and Synod.

About you

To secure this role you will have:

  • Previous experience in reception, administration, and carrying out basic financial processes
  • Experience using MYOB beneficial
  • Skills using Microsoft Office and Google suites
  • Experience with social media, basic website maintenance (WordPress) and basic audio editing desired but not essential
  • Knowledge of the Uniting Church, its structures and processes desired but not essential
