The Wilderness Society Victoria (TWS VIC) campaigns to protect wild and natural areas across the state and is a key advocate for biodiversity protection in Victoria. Central to this is a long running campaign to protect Victoria’s native forests, under threat from logging and the implications of climate change. This campaign is part of TWS’s national forest campaign agenda which seeks to protect all of Australia’s high conservation value native forests. We work collaboratively with other regional, state and national environmental organisations to deliver on this purpose.

TWS VIC is seeking a new Committee of Management member with extensive fundraising experience who can assist us to develop and implement an effective fundraising strategy and plan. This plan is required to deliver both immediate fundraising targets and longer term initiatives. Marketing experience and knowledge of the not for profit sector will be considered favourably.

The role requires approximately 8-10 hours per month (out of hours) for meeting attendance and fundraising portfolio management.
