The Tenants’ Union of NSW is a respected, dynamic and strong advocate for all renters in NSW. It provides high quality legal advice, assistance, training and information to tenants, tenant advocates, and community workers. Through litigation, high-quality, accurate and accessible resources, a policy reform agenda and media action the Tenants Union works for a society in which people in NSW can access safe, secure and affordable rental housing. It is also the resourcing body for tenants’ advice and advocacy services across NSW.

The Tenants Union is currently looking for an experienced leader to join the organisation as Chief Executive Officer. The role is responsible for providing leadership, strategic direction, planning and management to the employees of the TU, as well as liaising with the Board of Directors to ensure proper governance of the organisation.

The ideal candidate will have strong and varied experience in the provision of services in the community sector or similar industries, people leadership capability, stakeholder and financial management, and strong analytical and problem solving skills.
