The TRAK (Therapeutic Recovery for Adults and Kids) Forward Program operates and runs in collaboration with partner agencies Anglicare Victoria, Windermere, Drummond Street and Think Grow Connect. TRAK Forward has an aim to promote the recovery of parents and children who have experienced family violence. It offers, as recommended by the Family Violence Royal Commission; therapeutic interventions for adult and child victims of family violence by using a trauma-informed, phase based treatment framework. Services for women and children include:
Work with the family to empower them to manage to take charge of their lives, including connection and positive engagement with their community. Co-ordinate and implement the delivery of high quality services that provides genuine and positive outcomes for victim survivors of family violence.
Provide senior level practice consultation, joint planning and assessment and facilitate coordinated service responses, within a child centred, whole of family framework.
To ensure the program is operated in accordance with service and quality standards, program targets, DHHS service agreement, organisational policies and accepted standards of practice.
