The Salvation Army Gippsland Family Violence services provide support and assistance to victim survivors and perpetrators of Family Violence. The Family Violence services and programs operate in a manner that is consistent with the aims, objectives and values of The Salvation Army and the guidelines provided by Department of Health and Human Services, Family Safety Victoria, Domestic Violence Resource Centre Victoria and No to Violence. The Team Leader - Support and Safety Hub is required to lead, guide and support an effective team of multi-disciplinary practitioners in the delivery of Support and Safety Hub services of The Orange Door - Inner Gippsland Area.

The Orange Doors brings together access points for family violence services, family services and perpetrator/men's services. The Orange Door is a new way for women, children and young people experiencing family violence and families in need of support with the care, wellbeing and development of children and young to access culturally safe and appropriate services and to access to supports they need to be and feel safe.

This position is responsible for the delivery of specialist family violence services in the South Coast Access Point of The Orange Door - Inner Gippsland Area. This position is full time (38 hours per week), on-going, primarily based in Leongatha, travel may be required.

This position reports to the Program Manager - Family Violence.

This position will have staff management responsibilities.
