Part of the Disability Employment Services Program, Employment Plus places many people into sustainable work every week, guided by our mission to provide quality employment services to participants and employers. With sites in over 90 locations around the country, we reach far and wide and touch many communities, making positive impacts on their lives.

About the role:

This position is a new addition to our Team in Tasmania as we expand our DES Program and will be based at our Launceston site.

The Team Leader will provide day to day line management of a small team of local DES Job Coaches and Recruitment Advisors and provide professional case management and assessment services to support EPlus DES Participants in gaining and maintaining employment.

This role will implement and oversee a person centred, strengths-based case management model, which focuses on moving participants into a job ready state and provide commercial outcomes by:

  • Providing direct line management and oversight of a small team, driving organisational and individual KPI's
  • Coach and develop staff in alignment with our performance and growth culture
  • Drive performance and productivity of the team
  • Establish and maintain a network of key internal and external stakeholders

About you:

  • Extensive experience in case management
  • Experience in day to day management and coordination of effective teams
  • Demonstrated experience in Employment Services
  • Advanced experience coaching and mentoring individuals to gain employment
  • Advanced experience in barrier management highly beneficial
  • Advanced communication skills
  • Demonstrated success in high performance within a KPI driven environment
  • Full drivers license
