The Salvation Army - Samaritan Women and Children Services (SWACS) provides support programs and accommodation options to promote the safety of women and children who have experienced domestic and family violence and / or complex trauma in childhood. We offer opportunities for women and their children to explore their options to transition into independent housing while allowing them time and a safe space to work through their trauma. Case management provided includes but is not limited to immigration and visa support, education and training, program delivery and community connection. SWACS works to re-establish choice, self-worth and confidence in a trauma informed environment, empowering people to move forward in their lives and make positive choices.
Management and oversight of the case management team, joint working partnerships and community housing providers to ensure that a child focused, strength-based trauma informed practice is in place and in line with organisational policies and local, state and federal governance and funding agreements. Effectively working with program manager, senior practitioner and family specialist to ensure service delivery meets service user needs and allows team culture outcomes to be high.

This is a full-time position, 38 hours per week ongoing.
Salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010, Level 3 (Crisis).
