The Salvation Army Doorways program provides person-centred care to community members who are in a financial crisis or suffering other forms of hardship or distress. Our practitioners are mindful of trauma-informed practices, working within a strength-based context with holistic principles to build individual capacity, resilience, and well-being.
The Salvos Assessment Line (SAL) connects people to our Emergency Relief Assessment Team who will review clients' needs and help them obtain the necessary support.
We are seeking a values-driven and dedicated reporting to the SAL Team Leader. You will provide effective and efficient Emergency Relief assessments, advocacy and referrals and follows up via telephone to clients requesting material assistance from The Salvation Army (TSA).
We have multiple 6-month fixed-term full-time positions available based within the Cumberland LGA.
