We are seeking a casual Registered Nurse who will provide clinical leadership in the delivery of individualised care to residents, enhancing their health and spiritual well-being at our aged care centre in Canowindra NSW 2804.

Our Moyne Aged Care Centre is a warm and inviting aged care centre that offers all levels of care for approximately 70 residents including short term respite care. The Centre overlooks the Belubula River and the Lucerne flats and is just a few minutes from the Canowindra town centre. It is a lively centre with a strong sense of community and extensive lifestyle programs.

In the role of Registered Nurse, you will provide clinical supervision and be responsible for coordinating the delivery of safe, effective and individualised care to our care recipients. While experience in Aged Care would be ideal, we would encourage Registered Nurses with a passion for caring for the aged to apply.

ABOUT YOU

To be considered for this role, ideally we are looking for:

  • An understanding, empathy, appreciation and the ability to promote the values and ethos of The Salvation Army.
  • Current unrestricted registration with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency
  • Demonstrated aged care experience, the ability to work as part of a team and promote education and leadership in aged care
  • Understanding of and commitment to continuous quality improvement
  • Experience in providing care plans
  • An understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards
  • An understanding of Aged Care Funding Instrument (ACFI)
  • Demonstrated organisational and time management skills
  • Demonstrated well developed computer and documentation skills
