About the role

In the role of Recruitment Specialist with The Salvation Army Aged Care (TSAAC) you will provide expert advice and hands on support with end to end recruitment processes to leaders across TSAAC. You will play an integral role in developing and supporting/implementing best practice recruitment and selection strategy, process and techniques for each recruitment stream (Managers, Nursing, Carers and Mission Enablement).

Reporting to the National HR Manager for Aged Care, you will promote the TSA Employee Value Proposition to attract the best possible external talent as well as enabling succession planning from within the organisation. You will also support the talent acquisition strategy and manage the recruitment and selection process in line with TSSAC's key people related objectives.

Occasional intra- and interstate travel may be required to facilitate bulk recruitment days at aged care centres.

About You

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Understanding of and commitment to the mission and values of The Salvation Army
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in end-to-end recruitment - internal or agency
  • Experience using Workday or a similar HRIS
  • Experience using different tools and approaches to talent sourcing and attraction, including LinkedIn and SEEK Talent Search
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with external recruitment agencies
  • Ability to interpret quantitative data and reports to set goals and priorities for recruitment activities
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
  • Outstanding stakeholder management skills and ability to foster long lasting relationships
  • Solution focused approach and excellent customer service skills
  • Degree Qualification in HR, Business or a related field preferred
