At the Salvation Army Employment Plus (EPlus), our experienced employment teams have been empowering people to find the right job since 1998 as part of the Australian Government's Employment Services network. We've worked with over 200,000 businesses across Australia and seen well over half a million Australians successfully placed in employment.

About the role:

A true professional case management role which will support our assist in delivering employment outcomes for our clients with a disability. Implement and oversee a job seeker-centric case management model, focussing on individualised job searches, barrier management, marketing and post placement support, you will do this by:

  • Professional, commercial recruiter role
  • Source sustainable and relevant vacancies
  • Place clients into sustainable employment through business development and advocacy to employers
  • The business expectation is that you are mobile within our Employment Service areas of ACT & Queanbeyan.
  • Undertake regular reverse marketing of priority candidates as a key business development tactic

About you:

  • Previous experience in sales and/or recruitment
  • Previous experience or knowledge of the Community Development sector
  • A strong ability to problem-solve and apply resilience via adjusting solutions as well as approach and communication at an individual client level imperative;
  • Demonstrated experience in achieving and exceeding business targets and KPIs;
  • Advanced communication skills, and experience in working with a diverse group of job seekers.

A current NSW Working with Children Check and ACT Working with Vulnerable People Check is a mandatory requirement for this position.
Successful applicants will be required to undertake a police check, it is not mandatory to have a clear criminal history.
