The Salvation Army Employment Plus's Disability Employment Services contract has been founded on our experienced employment service teams, who have been empowering people to find the right job since 1998 as part of the Australian Government's Employment Services network where we have worked with over 200,000 businesses across Australia, and have seen well over half a million Australians into successfully placed in and sustainable employment.

About the role:

You will be responsible for leading teams in the Launceston, North West Tasmania, Maroondah, and ACT/Queanbeyan employment areas.

Your team of dedicated Team Leaders together with Job Coaches, Recruitment Advisors, and PPS consultants will look to you to provide clear direction and support that will allow us to meet the needs of their clients and achieve their overall key performance indicators. Through understanding the unique skills and experience of your client group, you'll work to build and maintain your Employment Service Area's caseload by working with local organisations.

You will use your existing Employment Services knowledge to ensure that all aspects of our Service Delivery Model (SDM) and legal compliance requirements are delivered to a high standard for all clients and by all of your team.

To be successful in this role, you'll:

  • Possess previous experience working within the Employment Services Industry within the Disability Employment Services contract
  • Have demonstrated and previous experience in leading high performing teams who have delivered successful results;
  • Have a demonstrated capability in achieving and maintaining both revenue targets and KPI's;
  • Possess outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to develop positive relationships with a diverse range of customers, employers and staff.
  • Be able to Influence, set and execute strategic plans and objectives that drive innovative and effective employment outcomes for our DES participants.
  • Establish, nurture and foster strategic partnerships with key stakeholders that build community capacity and create sustainable employment opportunities.
  • Track current and future outcomes performance and set appropriate strategies that are forecasted to enhance future performance.
  • Ensure that regular and consistent feedback is provided to your team ensuring that they are able to take action on areas of improvement effectively and efficiently.
  • Proven ability to think creatively, pursue innovative solutions, and deliver positive results within a diverse range of geographical regions;
  • Provide strong and effective leadership, fostering a high-performance culture, aligned to EPlus values, mission and operational plans.
  • Implement and oversee a participant-centric case management model, which focuses on supporting participants into sustained and gainful employment within realistic timeframes.
  • Available for interstate travel
  • A current Working with Children Check or relevant state equivalent is a mandatory requirement for this position.
  • Unrestricted drivers' licence
