The AOF program seeks to assist families who, due to resourcing and capacity issues within the Homelessness Service Sector, are homeless or are at risk of residing in rooming houses or other unsuitable accommodation
The Salvation Army Social Housing and Support (SASHS) is the Access Point for the Brimbank and Melton Local Government Areas (LGAs), for people who are homeless or at risk becoming homeless, SASHS can make the referrals for appropriate housing or support services.
The Accommodation Options for Families (AOF) Program aims to prevent families from residing in unsuitable forms of accommodation and works towards securing long term affordable housing
We are currently seeking a values-driven person with proven knowledge and experience of working with the Residential Tenancies Act 1997 and VCAT processes. Other client key accountability areas include:
This position is located at SASHS office in Sunshine.
This is a full time position, 38 hours per week maternity leave cover to 16 April 2021.
Salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010, Community Development Stream, level 5.
