We have an exciting opportunity for a permanent part time (22.8 hr)Office Coordinator to provide central team coordination and administrative support for the successful delivery of diverse Communications portfolio function supporting the Public Relations (PR) and Government Relations (GR) Departments from the Barton Office.

The key responsibilities of the role include but not limited to:

  • Provide administrative support to Public Relations Secretary, and Head of Government Relations and their respective teams;
  • Coordinating diary management and systematically handling emails and correspondence;
  • Developing a range of reports, documents, presentations, agendas and minute taking;
  • Assist with communications to Corps (Churches) for reporting, reconciliation and fundraising campaigns;
  • Act as liaison where requested between PR Office and Donor Services regarding receipting of donations
  • Assist with banking requirements;
  • Managing expenses and travel/accommodation booking;
  • Supplier and general finance queries are responded to and actioned as required.

To be successful in this role, you will be an organised and structured person who can multi-task and consistently meets deadlines with good computer and digital skills. Whilst not essential, a Certificate III in Business Administration (or equivalent) and a work history in fundraising would be a beneficial.

Key capabilities include:

  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive stakeholder relationships;
  • Technically capable with intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Blackbaud, SRM, Technology One advantageous
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent time management;
  • Ability to work autonomously;
  • A professional attitude and strong team focus
