This position is responsible for the provision of high-quality case management support within the Family Housing & Support Team by providing support to families and children who are homeless or at risk of homelessness in the North-West Metro region.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

  • Providing a range of service delivery responses to families and children who are homelessness, at risk of homelessness and/or family violence.
  • Providing case management including the provision of information, assessment, planning, community facilitated referral, & advocacy.
  • Provide specialist advice, secondary consultation and facilitated referrals across all programs within the Family Housing & Support Team
  • Build and maintain positive collaborative relationships within The Salvation Army (TSA) and partner organisations

ABOUT YOU:

  • Tertiary qualifications (Bachelor) in Social Work or related community service field
  • Experienced in Case-Management
  • Experienced with families who are homeless or at risk of homelessness
  • Experienced with working with Culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities
