The Salvation Army Social Mission Department and Victoria State Homelessness leadership team are seeking a values-driven person for the position of Homelessness Manager - Victoria East. You will also have opportunity to contribute to national plans frameworks and practice to ensure innovative and client centered service is delivered to meet current and future needs.
Reporting to the State Manager Homelessness (VIC), you will be responsible for leading the delivery of allocated homelessness services within Melbourne Metro (East & South East) and Eastern regional areas of Victoria.
This will involve operational and project management, relationship building with external stakeholders, funding of resources and programs and promote and establish TSA services. Other key accountability areas include:
This position currently has oversight of programs within Eastern Melbourne metro, South-East Melbourne, East Gippsland and parts of Northern Victoria region (Shepparton). However, depending on operational requirements some program areas may change.
This is a full-time position, 38 hours per week ongoing.
Salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010, Social stream, Level 8.
