The Salvation Army is one of Australia's largest providers of alcohol and other drug services. We offer a range of services including Harm Reduction and Primary Health Services as well as a range of treatment types (including residential treatment centres, community-based support programs, counselling and withdrawal management services). We work to a modern, evidence based and holistic Model of Care which can be viewed here.
We have exciting opportunities for values-driven and motivated Harm Reduction Practitioners to be part of our AOD - Harm Reduction and Health Service in the City of Yarra. This service supports people presenting as intoxicated / providing health supports to people that present as intoxicated/assessing and monitoring the health of people that present as intoxicated.
We have both part time and casual positions available. Flexibility on number of hours and days can be negotiated with the right candidate/s. Positions are fixed term for 12 months with possible extension depending on funding arrangements.
The Salvation Army is subject to public health orders. You may be required to provide evidence of vaccine status dependent on requirements.
