Moneycare is the Financial counselling service of The Salvation Army. We help members of the community to build long-term financial capability, enabling them to budget, manage their money, and make informed choices. We have a strong focus on delivering financial literacy education, information and coaching to our clients supporting The Salvation Army's mission and various expressions within the community.
We are currently seeking a values-driven and proactive Financial Capability Worker for a Traineeship to provide holistic service to people in crisis and or financial difficulty while studying a Diploma of Financial Counselling at TAFE.
Other key responsibilities include:
Reporting to the State Manager of Moneycare this position is located at Perth Community Support Services Northbridge.
This is a fixed term part time position, 30.4 hours per week 4 day working week until 15th of August 2023.
Note: A condition of this Traineeship is the requirement of attending TAFE Classes two days a week (within the four-day working week.)
Salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010, level 3.
