We are seeking a proactive and values-driven Family Store Coordinator to provide leadership and supervision in accordance with the principles and policies of the Forbes/Parkes Family Stores and to facilitate good management of the retail area of both stores.
You will provide effective display of usable goods for sale and a friendly shopping experience for customers with the purpose of developing an ethos of excellence in customer service and efficiency in operations and supporting the achievement of The Salvation Army mission. This position will be required across both stores, one store is located on Rankin Street, Forbes and the other on Church Street, Parkes.
This is a permanent part time position, 21 hours per week.
Salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Retail Industry Award 2010, Level 8.
This position will require physical ability to safely stand, sit, walk regularly and for long periods of time. Some responsibilities require the Manager to push, pull, lift, carry and restrain stock, climb ladders, and operate a cash register and EFTPOS machine. This will all be in line with WHS policies and procedures.
