As The Salvation Army delivers on its strategic transformation, we are seeking an Executive Manager - Data Office to evolve our data, information and records management into the digital age. The role is a two-year max term contract based in Blackburn, working in a hybrid nature.

Reporting to the Head of Audit Risk and Compliance you will be influential in progressing our ability to transform raw data into actionable insights to give us confidence in our decisions to be sustainable and more effective in serving those in need.

You will be responsible for establishing and embedding innovative reporting and self-service analytics capabilities and the implementation and ongoing monitoring of the enterprise information management standards to ensure regulatory compliance.

You will successfully

• Lead an in-flight project to deliver and implement the data management and intelligence capability enterprise program of work
• Manage data as a strategic asset and operationalise data governance, data quality and other controls to sustain integrity and comply with security and privacy requirements
• Evolve our digital tools and enterprise-wide analytic practices to promote a data-driven culture to support the delivery of innovation and operational efficiencies
• Implementation and ongoing monitoring of enterprise information management standards
• Establish executive reporting while promoting department performance reporting
• Maximise organisation value from data and analytics investments

You will have

• 10+ years' experience in applied technology and analytics
• Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or related field
• 5+ years Project Management and/or Change Management experience
• Data acumen at a broad, strategic level to support data-driven decision making
• A track record of evolving data from information to intelligence
• A passion for data and an understanding of emerging trends
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
• Empathetic problem-solving and storytelling abilities
• Risk and governance expertise
