The Salvation Army Employment Plus is currently going through an exciting time as we commence the new Workforce Australia contract.
Due to our program's ongoing success and our need for expansion, we are looking for performance driven individuals with strong relationship building skills to assist our participants to overcome barriers, connect with local businesses to fulfil their labour needs and ensure ongoing and sustainable employment outcomes are met.

About the role:

  • Manage a caseload of participants
  • Actively engage with participants to secure sustainable employment outcomes including reverse marketing to employers
  • Clearly identify and address barriers preventing participants from being job ready
  • Deliver engaging one on one appointments aimed at getting your participants motivated, job ready and on the path to employment
  • Apply strong problem-solving skills and resilience to maximise employment outcomes

About you:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in case management
  • Ability to overcome objections and break down barriers that exist for people who are unemployed
  • You are a confident and trustworthy self-starter who thrives on the opportunity to achieve meaningful results and problem solve
  • The ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds and circumstances
  • Demonstrated experience in achieving and exceeding business KPI's and targets
  • Computer skills and knowledge of MS Office is essential
  • Previous experience in Employment Services, Sales, Recruitment or like industries is highly advantageous
