This role will be required to develop and manage relationships with a number of key internal and external stakeholders and must maintain high levels of confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

About the Role

Executive Support

  • Provide a full range of executive support to the Assistant to the Chief Secretary to ensure the effective management of their office, schedule and workload
  • Coordinate daily business by regularly reviewing diary, emails, meeting and travel demands and identifying and resolving potential issues
  • Develop a range of reports, documents and presentations to support the Assistant to the Chief Secretary and the function including briefings for various committee meetings

Administration

  • Ensure sound document control and record management of key information is maintained developing and utilising filing and retrieval systems
  • Establish and maintain effective confidential administrative processes and ensure they are easy to use and retrieve
  • Manage a range of financial processes including expenses, payroll, invoices etc. to support the manager and the function

Stakeholder Management

  • Develop relationships with a range of external and internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate effectively with other executives, staff and EAs to ensure meetings and events are well planned

Required experience

  • Significant demonstrated equivalent relevant experience, knowledge and skills.
  • Relevant Business qualification such as Certificate IV or Diploma in Business Administration (desired)
