About the Role

As the Direct Marketing Manager, you will implement and own marketing campaigns and mentor the direct marketing team to generate leads and promote the brand. You have a proven track record of meeting and exceeding fundraising targets and experience leading teams through transformational change. Your strategic insights drive campaign success.

Reporting to the General Manager Supporter Experience, Acquisition & Growth, you will work closely with the regular giving, analytics and insights and transformational gifts teams to grow the supporter base and strengthen donor connection to our trusted brand.

On your to do list:

  • You'll develop and implement the DM strategy to drive revenue growth through traditional and digital channels
  • You'll be a key contributor to the strategic design of campaigns as well as regularly monitoring results in order to optimise conversion
  • You'll develop campaigns end to end and manage the campaign schedule
  • You'll brief and coordinate key stakeholders to ensure programs are executed on time
  • You'll analyse data, evaluate fundraising activities and compile reports with key learnings and recommendations to be incorporated back into strategic plans and future planning
  • You'll ensure all DM meets brand guidelines, campaign timelines and is within budget

Skills in your toolbox:

  • You have experience in large organisation/s, building and executing multiple DM campaigns in parallel
  • You love being hands on, developing and implementing campaigns end to end and managing the campaign schedule
  • You work well under pressure and are driven by deadlines and deliverables
  • You are a confident and articulate communicator capable of inspiring strong collaboration between internal and external stakeholders
  • Your Diploma of Marketing or equivalent, combined with your direct fundraising experience has given you a strong understanding of marketing mix and where direct marketing fits within this
  • Your experience includes traditional and digital DM campaigns
  • You can demonstrate fundraising success through campaigns you have led
  • You have experience with multi-channel fundraising streams, including databases and direct mail
