Co-ordinate the kitchen operations and prepare food and beverage for Oasis Youth Services hospitality outlets. The Café Chef, as part of the role, will be responsible for ordering and facilitating the preparation and serving of food and beverage and participating in the supervision of café staff, work experience students, volunteers and various hospitality certificates students.
The position requires an all-rounder that is able to cover both BOH and FOH duties when required. Barista skills are a must. The cafe chef must be willing and able to engage in obtaining a Training & Assessment certificate. Must be able to travel when required to any of our other cafes. Weekdays and weekend availability is a must.

Oasis Youth Services is a youth service which supports young people aged 12-24 on their journey to independence. The Chef / Trainer is responsible for food preparation and serving, ordering of stock and equipment, the delivery of vocational training in hospitality and commercial cookery, supervision of café staff and work experience students for Oasis cafés across the Central Coast and Hunter regions.
