Provide effective service delivery including case management, assessment, referral, education (including group work) and support.

THE ROLE

Provide efficient day to day service delivery through education, interventions, group work, assessment, referral and casework within a recovery orientated and person led service environment. Other responsibilities include:

  • Deliver individual case management and group work in community
  • Demonstrate commitment to an environment that values continuous improvement and innovation in the delivery of high-quality services
  • Acquire and maintain a good working knowledge of referral and support options for participants.
  • Work collaboratively and professionally with other services.

Reporting to the Program Manager this position is located at Brisbane Recovery Services Centre in Red Hill.

HOURS AND SALARY

This is a full time position, 38 hours per week fixed term to December 2021.

Salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010, Level 4.

SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT WILL HAVE

  • Minimum of Diploma level qualification in a relevant discipline
  • Knowledge of AOD/Gambling, Community Services and Health Sectors
  • Demonstrated experience and ability to work with those impacted by substance abuse, gambling and mental health conditions
  • Experience working with people from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander background
  • Experience working with people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds and religions
  • A willingness and ability to work shifts across the week - Monday to Sunday
  • A current STATE Drivers Licence
  • Be able to provide proof of Eligibility to Work in Australia
