We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with leadership experience in Aged Care, to join the team at our boutique 42-bed Kubirri Aged Care Centre located in Mossman QLD 4873 in the role of the Clinical Coordinator. This role is available on a permanent full-time basis.
Located in the beautiful town of Mossman, The Kubirri Aged Care Centre will provide the best of both worlds. The Centre will have a tranquil backdrop of the Mossman River, views of open farmlands and yet is only a couple of minutes away from the Mossman town centre, hospital and local attractions. Designed in consultation with the community, industry experts and peers, our 42-bed home will offer a warm, inviting community atmosphere aimed to create an enhanced living experience for older Australians in the area. The Centre also leads the way with a sustainable design to minimise our environmental footprint.
Kubirri Aged Care Centre will offer permanent residential care, including dementia care, palliative care and respite (short-term) care.
As the Clinical Co-ordinator you will be responsible for coordinating the delivery of safe, effective and individualised care to residents and their families (including managing staff and physical resources) and assisting residents to lead an active and meaningful life as independently as possible in keeping with the organisation's Mission, Vision and Values. You will work with and assist the Centre Manager to plan, coordinate and evaluate the clinical care in the centre to maintain full accreditation and achieve best practice.
