The Salvation Army Youth Services offer an integrated suite of programs engaging with young people across Australia. Our services create intentional avenues for young people to explore opportunities, build support networks, and access, participate and contribute to their communities. Youth services provide a diverse range of programs which include housing and homelessness, driver training, education, employment and training, AOD support, social and community activities, specialist therapeutic responses and youth justice programs.

We are currently seeking a values-driven and proactive Client Services Coordinator to lead a team of case managers and youth support facilitators to deliver high quality services to young people aged 12-25.

The Client Services Coordinator is a member of the leadership team that covers sites within the Frankston Mornington Peninsula region and will be involved in writing funding body reports and ensuring required outcomes are being met.

This is a permanent full-time role based in Frankston.

You will successfully

  • Provide client-focused supervision and support to case management staff to ensure high quality service delivery
  • Ensure that all components of youth service's programs are consistent with the Journey to Independence model and the Psychologically Informed Environment (PIE) practice framework
  • Be responsible for providing daily leadership, management and coordination of services delivered across Youth Services Peninsula sites and ensure the integration of work completed by the case managers
  • Develop and maintain productive and collaborative relationships with community and agency partners
  • Accurate data relating to programs is collected, analysed and used to review and evaluate service delivery outcomes
  • Establish referrals, allocate and review/monitor caseloads of relevant Youth Services staff
  • Participate in program on-call roster as needed

You will have

  • A minimum degree qualification in social work, social sciences or related field is required
  • Demonstrated experience in the management and leadership of staff
  • Knowledge and experience in staff supervision
  • Experience and competency in delivering case management practice within a homeless service setting
  • Well-written verbal and IT communication skills
  • Excellent organisation and administrative skills with capacity to balance workload, determine priorities and meet deadlines while also managing the needs of client crisis assistance requirements
  • Victoria Working with Children check
  • A current driver's license
  • A willingness to undergo a National Police Check

The Salvation Army is subject to public health orders. You may be required to provide evidence of vaccine status dependent on requirements.
