About the Role

We currently have a vacancy for a Care Manager at our Aged Care Centre in Collaroy who is willing to ensure a homely and loving environment by providing care with compassion, integrity and dignity.

Reporting to an experienced Centre Manager, this position is a forward thinking opportunity for clinical excellence within the aged care community. Managing the multidisciplinary care team, this position is responsible for clinical governance and will also hold accountability for, and consideration of the budgetary, continuous improvement, statutory requirements and human resource needs of the organisation.

About You

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • An appreciation of and the ability and willingness to promote, support and model the values and ethos of The Salvation Army and to facilitate pastoral support where required
  • Extensive experience as a Registered Nurse in a similar size facility
  • Ability to build excellent relationships with residents, families and staff
  • Hands on leader with a "can do" attitude
  • Passionate, resilient and proactive leader
  • Demonstrated excellent clinical expertise
  • Ability to be multi-task, work under pressure and be part of a team
  • Current unrestricted registration with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency
  • Ability to identify training needs and deliver customised training
  • Auditing skills and attention to detail
