About the role

This is a newly created role and we are looking for an experienced Business Relationship Manager to promote our Employability Skills Training programs to industry stakeholders and employers to secure ongoing referrals to the program and work experience places for our graduates.

Duties include:

  • Develop and implement an effective business development plan aligned to program objectives
  • Establish and maintain strong business networks
  • Effectively negotiating and secure work experience placements for course graduates
  • Work directly with course graduates to secure workplace work experience opportunities
  • Work to strict sales targets and KPIs
  • Work as part of a team to ensure continuing success of the program

This is a full time permanent position working in the Sydney North West region.

About you:

  • Excellent communication skills with experience in persuading, convincing and negotiating with a range of stakeholders.
  • Experience with design and implementation of business development strategy
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a multi-disciplinary team, contribute to a positive team environment and working constructively with management and staff at all levels.
  • Highly developed organisational skills with the ability to prioritise, manage and meet the needs of a large number of stakeholders.
  • Well-developed strategies for building rapport, establishing and maintaining networks and achieving beneficial outcomes
  • Ability to work in a KPI focused environment
  • Experience in Vocational Education sector is desirable
  • Employment services experience is desirable
  • High level of resilience, excellent computer and time management skills
