The Salvation Army Geelong serves the Geelong community bringing hope to those most in need offering programs and services for youth, seniors, counselling, men's ministry, spiritual ministry, Just Brass and companion club.
We are seeking a values-driven and pro-active Assistant Thrift Shop Manager to assist and support the Thrift Shop Manager in leading and developing the store.
You will be responsible not only for maximising sales and revenue for the stores but also promoting teamwork and encouraging a culture of collaboration amongst the volunteer team, which will in turn enhance the customer experience in the stores. Other responsibilities include:
Geelong West Thrift Shop is located at 54 Shannon Ave Geelong West.
This role is 4 hours per week fixed term for 6 months. Weekly roster is Saturdays 10am-2pm and possible coverage for the Thrift Shop Manager in their absence.
Salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Retail Industry Award 2010, Level 4.
