The Thrift Shop is fully sourced by local donations and all profits made from our shop enables us to minister to people in the Castlemaine community, so we greatly value our regular customers and visitors to our shop.
At our Thrift Shop you will find amazing bargains, quality clothing, essential home items, furniture.
We are seeking a supportive and proactive Assistant Thrift Shop Manager to assist the Thrift Shop Manager to lead and develop the stores to maximise profits and strengthen links between thrift shops, Community Support Service, wider community and Corps.
This position is responsible for fostering a culture of inclusiveness and community spirit amongst the volunteer team, which will in turn enhance the customer experience in the store.
The Thrift Shop is located on Forest Street, Castlemaine and will have supervisory responsibility of all volunteers.
This is a part-time position, 15.5 hours per week. Current roster will be:
9.00am-4.30pm Monday and Tuesday (plus lunch)
9.00am-12.00noon Wednesday
10.30am - 3.30pm Saturday
Salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Retail Industry Award 2010, Level 4.
