This role is accountable for providing a full range of Administrative Support to the Office of the Chief Secretary as directed by the Manager, Administration Services This role will be required to develop and maintain relationships with a number of key internal and external stakeholders and must maintain very high levels of confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

Administrative Support

  • Provide a full range of administrative support to the Office of the Chief Secretary to support the effective management of their office
  • Coordinate daily business as directed by Manager Administration Services including reception, travel bookings and stationery supplies within budget
  • Attend and take minutes at meetings as required, tracking completion of action items

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Develop relationships with a range of external and internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate effectively with other stakeholders to ensure meetings and events are well planned

Team Support

  • Participate in team activities, attend meetings and demonstrate a supportive approach to staff members which contributes to their overall development, well-being and team effectiveness.
  • Active participation and regular attendance at team meetings.

Required experience

  • Administrative support experience in a large organisation managing competing priorities
  • High level of proficiency using Microsoft Office suite products including Outlook and Webex
  • Experience in managing confidential and sensitive data
