ABOUT THE ROLE

Our Administration Assistants / Receptionists deliver high quality customer focused reception and administrative activities for TSA Aged Care. As the first point of contact, it is essential this position presents a professional image and creates a welcoming, warm and positive first impression, whether via phone or in person. The purpose of the role is to provide front of house reception and administrative support for Centre.

  • Undertake reception duties to support the day to day requirements of the area including answering phones, basic data entry referring queries to appropriate contact
  • Meet and greet clients and visitors and provide exceptional customer service
  • Assist Manager to identify, establish, improve and maintain administrative processes
  • Operation, maintenance and security of record keeping systems and software
  • Assist in administrative functions for meetings and events, including catering
  • Provide information to clients and visitors ensuring that all enquiries are dealt with in a confidential and sensitive manner
  • Other duties as directed

ABOUT YOU

  • An appreciation of and the ability and willingness to promote and support the values and ethos of The Salvation Army
  • Demonstrated experience working in an administrative and/or reception role within a similar environment
  • Demonstrated experience in the use of IT applications, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Customer centric approach and ability to solve problems easily
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Warm and outgoing disposition
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise
