Triple P – Positive Parenting Program is one of the world’s most effective parenting programs, designed to give parents the skills they need to raise confident, healthy children and teenagers and to strengthen family relationships. We are seeking a Manager of the Program, Implementation and Evidence Support (PIES) Team to join our Head Office in Indooroopilly. The role is a maternity cover contract, full time hours with flexibility to work from home and the office.

This role manages a team responsible for providing support to Triple P teams globally on all things related to program implementation, research and evidence base, tender writing, costings and proposals. This role is a great opportunity for candidates with relevant experience, high level critical thinking and research skills to provide strategic and operational support to the team.

The Role

  • Lead development of documents including tenders, proposals and reports
  • Lead and support complex strategic and operational initiatives related to research, implementation, projects, proposals, financial costings, data, reporting and evaluation
  • Communicate complex ideas in a succinct way, tailored to the needs of clients
  • Assist with the responses to questions internally regarding the evidence base of Triple P
  • Manage the review, editing, formatting and fact checking of various documentation
  • Support the development and maintenance of core team resources
  • Engagement and collaboration with various subject matter experts, internally and externally
  • Management of a team of 4+ people and their workloads
  • Flexible working from home and office, with occasional outside hours required for global meetings

The Person

  • Undergraduate degree, ideally post-graduate, in Psychology/Health/Allied Health/Social Services or related field
  • Minimum 5 years’ post-graduate experience
  • Ability to work at a strategic level
  • Very strong attention to detail
  • Strong organisational, planning, coordination, time management and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
  • Leadership and team management skills and experience
  • Skills in the following fields would be advantageous – clinical, leadership, project management, data and evaluation, or research experience in psychology, child health, family or health and community services

This is a full-time maternity leave position, with the possibility of extension and/or permanency.
