Trees for Life is a not for profit, community-based organisation that works with all South Australians to help restore SA’s natural and productive landscapes through revegetation and conservation. We have over 6000 members, many of whom are active volunteers, and we are a welcoming, productive and flexible family-friendly workplace.

Our direct seeding program has successful delivered nearly 5,000 ha of revegetation across agricultural regions of SA, using a number of different seeding methods.

The Technical Advisor – Direct Seeding Revegetation will work with the Manager, Direct Seeding to identify current and emerging approaches and technologies that will enable Trees For Life to continue delivering high quality, large-scale revegetation, particularly under changing climatic conditions.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Research and development skills in the field of environmental restoration,
• Advanced knowledge of revegetation and
• A passion for collaborative problem solving.

This is a fixed term contract position of 12 months duration. Salary range $65k - $70k, negotiable.
