Programs and services offered include a wide range of primary health services, aged care services, alcohol and other drug, NDIS coordination and early childhood, child and youth programs, and a range of other wellbeing programs.

Reporting to and working with the Executive team, the newly created position of Manager Advocacy is to build the advocacy capacity from the ground up, including establishing the advocacy team, and developing and implementing the advocacy framework to ensure improved client outcomes.

A two-step approach is required in which phase one will be the establishment of the function within the organisation and developing an action plan for advocacy. Phase two will be the implementation and developing of the action plan.

About you:

You will have a demonstrable background of management and leadership in policy advocacy including the development and implementation of advocacy planning and strategy. With underpinning values of social justice, you will have knowledge of the policy environment with the health and wellbeing sector.

Tertiary qualifications in public policy, public health or communications are required with professional experience in government relations, senior policy/communications, healthcare advocacy or public affairs.
