About Us

Torquay Community House is a vibrant, not-for-profit organisation governed by a community-based Board of Management and is one of 25 Neighbourhood Houses in the Barwon Region. As a Neighbourhood House we bring people together to connect, learn and contribute to their local community through social, educational, recreational and support activities.

About the role

In this role you will be providing day-to-day administration of the Neighbourhood House and supporting the House Coordinator, Activities and Marketing Coordinator, volunteers, and tutors in their roles.

To be successful in this role you will require:

  • Proven administrative and organisational skills, including ability to balance priorities and meet deadlines

  • Strong initiative and the ability to adapt to a varied workload

  • High level of computer literacy

  • Excellent customer service skills and a friendly and professional manner
