It is an exciting time at Top Blokes Foundation – after experiencing strong growth over the past 3 years we are keen to continue this trajectory and have just launched our community fundraising program. We are seeking a Community Fundraising Coordinator to take this program to the next level working on all aspects of our community fundraising program including digital marketing, communications, social media, event management, fundraiser coaching, account management, merchandise and administration. You will be passionate about what you do, be an expert in sniffing out opportunities and a natural at growing relationships.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver and achieve all planned community fundraising initiatives to achieve budgeted fundraising outcomes
  • Explore and secure new avenues or relationships to leverage fundraising opportunities
  • Provide outstanding customer service to community fundraisers to develop strong and long-lasting relationships to maximise fundraising outcomes (e.g welcoming, coaching, nurturing, thanking and answering fundraisers’ questions)
  • Provide end-to-end event management of Top Blokes Foundation events
  • Assist in ideation and launch of our new Top Blokes fundraising signature event
  • Maintain and update our community fundraising microsite and other third-party fundraising platforms such as Everyday Hero
  • Working with the Marketing Coordinator, create outstanding content to engage and inspire our audiences across social, web, email and offline activity
  • Volunteer recruitment, coordination and stewardship
  • Represent Top Blokes Foundation at community and other fundraising events

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING ATTRIBUTES:

  • Ability to engage people and inspire them to our cause
  • Strong Presentation Skills
  • High-level Oral & Written Communication
  • Strong Time Management & Organisational Skills
  • Ability to Multi Task with Competing Priorities
  • The ability to work both collaboratively and independently whilst remaining flexible
  • Digital fundraising/marketing experience including social media, email marketing and website management
  • Event management experience
  • Previous experience and or qualifications in Fundraising, Marketing, Sales or Events will be highly regarded along with a passion for working in the not for profit sector.
