Operating from within the mission of Safety, Respect and Choice for Women, we support women with complex issues who have experienced past or present traumas.

About the Employment Opportunity

As a Case Coordinator, some of your key responsibilities will include maintaining a designated caseload, undertaking assessments, undertaking case management, conducting AOD/ DFV/ basic mental health interventions, providing outreach support to women in the AMC, Detox and other locations as required. Additionally, participation in the co-facilitation of groups, including the AOD Day Program.

What We Are Looking For

Our ideal applicant will have community sector experience and a minimum of Cert IV in AOD (or working towards). A current driver's licence as well as a valid Working with Vulnerable People registration are required for this job.

Other things that we are looking for include:

  • Service delivery skills within trauma informed framework
  • Excellent time management, computer, record keeping, & communication skills,
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team.

Benefits

  • The total salary and benefits package for these 72 hours per fortnight (9-day fortnight) positions may consist up to:
  • A starting salary of $40.01 ($74,898 per annum)
  • Salary Packaging option to $16,000 - $5,500 saved tax (approx.)
  • Superannuation at 9.5% - $7,115 per annum
  • Employee self-care allowance - $300 per annum
