Senior Practitioner - Family Violence

Thorne Harbour Health, Victoria’s largest provider of LGBTI health services, is now recruiting for a highly skilled and appropriately qualified family violence practitioner to join our family violence team.

The Senior Practitioner will contribute to program development, service planning, and the support and supervision of staff and students in the family violence team, as well as carry a caseload. Clinically, you will have senior level skills and experience in delivering trauma-informed, supportive and evidence based casework, counselling and brief interventions to victim/survivors of family violence. Thorne Harbour Health also provides services to people who use violence in their relationships, and some experience in this work will be well regarded. A genuine interest in working with LGBTI community members and people living with HIV is essential.
