ABOUT THE ROLE

Thorne Harbour Health has vacancies in its Home Care team for workers in the southern and western regions of Melbourne. This team provides support to clients living with HIV, enabling them to keep living independently in their own homes. It also works with people who have an aged care home support package and clients of the National Disability Insurance Scheme who need help at home or assistance with community participation.

The work is flexible, with casual shifts usually over three to four days a week, depending on each worker’s availability. You need to have a Certificate III in Individual Support, Home and Community Care, Aged Care or similar, or to be studying for such a qualification. Workers also need their own car and current Driver Licence, as some client transport is involved.
