Your new role

We are seeking a person with strong leadership and management skills to complement the Executive Team in the delivery of quality services to people with disability within the Nepean Region. Reporting to the CEO, you will have be responsible for:

  • Facilitating the Human Resources Management function for the organisation not limited to but including Performance Management, Recruitment, Award Interpretation and WHS
  • Contributing to the strategic direction of Thorndale as part of the Executive Team
  • policies and procedures development, review and updates
  • Overseeing the payroll function of the organisation

Essential Criteria

  • At least three year's experience in the Human Services sector and/or
  • Formal tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or similar
  • High level of written and verbal communication skills
  • Initiative and attention to details
  • Willingness to work with and for others in a disability setting
  • Experience with software programs such as Microsoft packages
  • Previous payroll experience preferred
