About the Role

Whitelum Group is seeking applications from candidates interested in mid-level or senior consultant positions to join our dynamic team and help drive Whitelum Group’s future directions. We are keen to hear from people with 5+ years of experience working in the international aid and development sector, or people who have worked with indigenous communities in Australia or elsewhere.

We are interested in a broad-range of technical fields, skills and capabilities. Importantly, we are seeking people who are keen to work within a team environment for shared learning, and who have exceptional writing and interpersonal skills. Alignment with Whitelum Group values is also important.

Selection Criteria

  1. Advanced university degree (Masters) in social sciences, international development or related discipline, or equivalent.
  2. Minimum of five years’ experience working in international aid and development or with Australian indigenous communities.
  3. Demonstrated knowledge of the Australian aid program.
  4. Knowledge and experience of program design, program review, and monitoring and evaluation.
  5. Self-driven with a good sense of judgement and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  6. Excellent writing and interpersonal skills.
  7. Ability to travel overseas (duration and frequency is negotiable).
