The Song Room is seeking Teaching Artists to deliver a Music arts learning and teacher mentoring program to primary schools in the Hunter Valley Region (specifically in the suburbs of Ashtonfield and Cessnock), New South Wales, as part of our new program, Transformational Learning Through Creativity (TLC). Applicants must be practising artists who have experience in education and mentoring, as well as in facilitating classroom programs with primary aged children who are experiencing disadvantage. A teaching qualification is desired for this position.

The position will involve working two full days per week (Tuesday and Wednesday) for the remainder of the 2020 school year.
