The Leprosy Mission is an international Christian organisation working towards the eradication of the causes and consequences of leprosy. We are a global network of 30 member countries and affiliates supporting projects in 18 countries around the world.
The Leprosy Mission Australia (TLMA) exists to achieve our vision of “Leprosy Defeated and Lives Transformed”. Through resourcing and supporting our global networks, our mission seeks to bring about transformation; breaking the chains of leprosy, empowering people to obtain healing, dignity and life in all its fullness. A key function of our resourcing and fundraising activities is the sale of products and merchandise sourced globally from a network of artisans in developing countries through ethical Fair-Trade practices.
We are currently seeking a creative and enthusiastic Marketing Assistant to make an impact through the marketing of goods for sale, supporting our Merchandise Team to source, import and provide high quality products for customers to purchase as a way of supporting the work of The Leprosy Mission Australia.
Working in a fast-paced environment, you will need an ability to think outside the box and come up with creative solutions within established frameworks.
You will assist in the development of catalogues and our online shop to enhance our fundraising efforts by promoting products including goods that are fair trade and ethically sourced, and items crafted by artisans including people affected by leprosy and disability.
You will collaborate with the marketing team to develop the product catalogue for distribution ensure clear and effective branding and messaging.

This is a casual position of 20-24 hours per weeks, ideally spread over 5 days, but days and hours are flexible. The position is available for an immediate start, and initially runs until the end of December 2020.
The successful candidate will be required to work from home and ensure a safe working environment and will be prepared to use their own laptop and phone.
