The Junction Clubhouse Cairns Ltd (The Junction) is a dynamic and growing community of members from the Cairns region living with mental illness.

The Junction is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Recovery Facilitator to support members to build on their strengths and work collaboratively towards their goals. As a Recovery Facilitator, you will support members to set meaningful goals so they can create their ‘best life’, assisting to close the gap between where they are and where they want to be. You will have ability to work within and promote the peer support framework, Clubhouse model and believe that recovery is possible.

We are looking for a person who is:

High energy, enjoys teamwork, experienced working with people living with Mental Illness, happy with diversity in day-to-day tasks including cooking, driving, recovery planning and crisis support.

A strong understanding of the Clubhouse Model, Mental Health legislation and Recovery Models are mandatory as is a base qualification of Cert III or higher in a relevant field.

• Current Police National Police Check
• Open Australian Driver's License
• Monday-Friday 8.30-3pm
• Occasional Saturday required
