The Hut Community Centre (The Hut) is a ‘for purpose’ centre that has been supporting the Adelaide Hills community since it was formed in 1979.

The Hut invests in opportunities that enrich the lives of our diverse community and support people to engage, connect and grow, working in collaboration with local council, governments, community groups and individuals.

We are seeking an experienced part-time (0.6 FTE) Finance Officer that is community minded, has experience of working in a for purpose setting, enjoys diversity and challenge within their role and has high level attention to detail. If you have worked in a community setting previously you will know that this can be a very challenging position but one that is critical to supporting the organisation and community to achieve its vision, mission and smooth running of its operations. This is a permanent part-time position (.6FTE).

As a part of the Operations team you will support all aspects of the organisation and gain an in depth knowledge of our programs, systems, policies and governance. You will work with, and support the Executive Officer, to ensure strong financial management is maintained and systems and processes are improved through regular reviews and audits.

This is an exciting opportunity for the right person who will integrate seamlessly into this soon-to-be vacant position.

There will be a one month hand-over for the successful candidate.
